Elements:

• Staghorn cholla (Cylindropuntia versicolor)

• Pink opal

• White earthenware pot and tray

I think more chollas should be displayed in pots. They are beautiful structurally and that sculptural element really spoke to me on both a visual and energetic level. The pink opal to me adds a softness around the rigidity along with the whimsy and celebratory cake-like feel of the pot. I have the feeling and hope with this arrangement that we can have structure in our lives, but with room for gentleness and ease.
